From the moment I spoke with Gus about my history and current issues with my Crohns I felt she understood what I was going through. Embarking on the FDN process has allowed me to feel a balance that I cannot recall ever having before. The protocols that I am following have had positive effects on my confidence and general happiness. My digestive issues have improved so much that I can now plan trips that I would have normally avoided. Whenever I have finish a session with Gus, I feel empowered to stay on course, I learn something new and interesting and it feels like setting a reset button which helps me to stay on course.
Gus is worth every penny and I am grateful to have her in my 'corner.' Through Gus I have managed to reeducate myself and really discover things about myself that I don't think I would have otherwise. The science is always explained in a way I can understand and 'digging deeper' has made me feel that everything I am doing is completely tailored to me, not anyone else, just me. It feels empowering in ways that are so new to me.
I am on the road to a totally transformed person - able & willing to make changes in the best interest of my wellbeing. I went from not wanting to get out of bed in the morning (despite my severe insomnia) to enjoying a good 6/7 hours of sleep daily, to looking forward to commencing an exercise regime after years of leading a sedentary lifestyle, to changing my diet from one full of carbs to one loaded with greens, from not having breakfast to not being able to function without my daily morning smoothie. I am still not where I would like to be but am sure that with Gus’s ongoing check-ins I will get there. I feel Gus has my health at heart. She takes interest in my wellbeing & remembers all we talk about so that makes the relationship extra special.
I loved the choice of functional tests that Gus advised me to take. The detail of the results (of the stool test and the hormone test) are so vast and so interesting. I enjoyed every second of Gus 's interpretation of my results. It has taught me so much about my own body, about myself. Personally I think that everyone should do the deep dive program, even if they don't have major symptoms! It's a thorough, informative program on ones health that can only help and improve your general wellbeing!
I had been sent from pillar to post by Doctors for 4 years and no one could give me any sort of indication of where my symptoms were coming from, but I knew there was something wrong and it wasn't just stress like I was being told. Working with Gus, I think the main few things that I don't suffer from anymore which has made a huge impact on my life are the relief of heartburn, nausea, bloating, the constant pain and discomfort in my stomach area, plus my energy levels (I feel I can cope with my day-to-day life of being a mother). I had total brain fog which is now gone and I can think again, not sure how to describe the painful feeling when I rubbed my skin, a bit like when one has a fever. I had that everyday. Intense lower back pain which was coming due to all my stomach problems which thank goodness I no longer have. The overall feeling I have now is of feeling good which fantastic, I haven't felt like this in 4 years.
When I first spoke with Gus I was really struggling with energy levels, managing stress, sleep issues and emotional highs and lows. From the start Gus made me realise that it was possible to sort this all out and that I could change the way I was feeling. I loved the scientific side to what she does and I now feel like I understand the mechanics of my body and mind and how they are completely linked. Happy mind happy body and vice versa! The nutritional advice all makes sense and she really helps you focus on how to as well as what to eat. Every time I fall off the wagon nutritionally she has helped me hop back on. She also doesn't judge you!
I feel healthier and happier and more in control of how I feel...I also now know that I can sustain my health.

Gus's offer of coaching could not have come at a better time as I was going through a very difficult time and was feeling as if I was stuck on an escalator neither moving up or down. On top of it all I had just lost my father. It was almost as if karma was on my side. I grabbed it with both hands and in all honesty I wonder whether I would have still been on that escalator.
By the end of the programme I realised just how many positive changes I was able to make having taken small steps which have now become a consistent fixture in my daily life. The programme was not only practical but it was also a revelation in helping me change my mind set from being stuck on certain things to being flexible, challenging myself and moving forward. I was able to understand my body better and made changes to my eating habits, I took a new direction career wise, I was able to change my mind set around things to help me move forward emotionally and with positivity and I am much better at living in the moment and making choices . On top of it all I felt I could trust Gus totally and never for a minute felt judged. She has a very calming style yet was gently firm in helping me move forward.
I would whole heartedly recommend anyone who is looking to make changes to give this a go and what is amazing is that I reaslized that every small change matters because ultimately the small changes are the ones that have a big impact.

I’ve just been through the 90 day Intensive with Gus and the insights I have gained into my own health and wellbeing have been extremely valuable. The programme gradually layers on some really good tools and techniques to get you healthy and Gus’ non-judgmental, friendly, fun, positive and approachable manner makes the weekly calls something you look forward to rather than dreading.
When I first spoke to Gus, life had been very challenging and stressful for many years and it felt like there was no let up in sight. I felt that I wanted to reclaim my life for me, and Gus has truly helped with that. With a focus on nutrition and changing bad food habits it has been steady progress for me, week by week, to change the way I view food and to move to a healthier, positive and more energetic food approach. All with Gus's gentle and non-judgemental steer. The end result, 90 days on, is more energy, more drive and more focus. I am sleeping better, am calmer and my head is clearer. Which in turn has led to bags more productivity and creativity - as an artist, headspace and energy for creativity is a requirement. Like many working, stressed out Mums, it can be hard to find that necessary balance and this program has certainly enlightened me with the realisation of a few home truths about how to create the most out of my time-constrained days, what gives me energy and specifically what foods really help me or hinder me in that regard. I love the science behind the explanations - understanding why things work or don't work for the body is something I love getting to understand. I would thoroughly recommend the 90 day Intensive to potential clients.
Working with Gus on the 90 day programme has had a profound affect on how I view my body and how I approach food. I was expecting the sessions to be mainly about which foods are healthy, and why I shouldn't eat treats, but I was so wrong! Over the twelve weeks we explored emotional issues, ingrained habits, and delved into why I was eating the way I was. Having always been overweight, ashamed and eating for comfort I needed to understand what part my emotions were playing in my food choices, and work with my body not against it. I was amazed to see how my emotional or hormonal state closely impacts on food choices and how I was eating. Through exploring all these issues with Gus I have introduced new techniques into my daily routine, and made a huge leap towards loving my body. I can't recommend her programme enough.
